Orange flames on Cannon gas cooker?

My cannon gas cooker (with pull down glass lid) has four burners, the two smaller ones are working at only minimum temperature and with quite orange flames which do go more blue the longer they are on. Also the gas is popping all the time and there seems to be a lot of air coming through with the gas.
Any advice?

Yes
get a corgi reg engineer to check it as a matter of urgency. I won't try and be a drama queen here but please do it
