My Maytag Neptune won't spin fast, It does the slow back and forth aggitage?

All seems well except that in the fast spin cycle. I have 3 choices on the dial for fast spin and they all do the same.
It continues to slow aggitate back and forth. The belt seems to be in fine shap and thier is no slipping.

I have a stacking Maytag Neptune mod MHS2000AWW the dryer works fine but when I turn it on in any water cycle it turns on and fills for about 10 sec then shuts off. If I press the start button again it will fill then shut off again a few seconds latter, if I press again the door lock comes on then it over fills and will not agitate or spin. it drains just fine but will not agitate or spin I have checked the control board and R11 is fine I have even replaced the board with another from a working machine. Help hate to scrap it...

This is a common problem on the front-load Maytag washer, older units only.

The problem is the wax motor (door latch) has overcurrented the washer control board. R11 and Q6 are probably destroyed. You can either call service or, if you know anything about electronics, you can attempt the repair yourself by going to the above site for more information.
