need to find code for engine immobiliser for rover 414 m reg?

i have no key fob and the engine immobiliser to the car above as cut in and need code to start engine on key

i have just changed the battery on a rover 414 on a R plate i have tried putting in the code using the key. Immobiliser still on is there anything else i can do car was fine before this . ta art.

You need to find a Rover or maybe even a Land Rover specialist with the computer link for your car, there is a keycode you can put in using the drivers door switch which consists of lock & unlock signals!
They might be able to read or locate the code for you?
