can you help?

hi i have a 1996 high cube transit the problem i have is the stearing wont return to were it sould when going round corners.
i think its the stearing box myself but some one said it could be a ball joint can you help

If the steering has become stiff as Wayne has said below then more then likely a bottom swivle rather then faulty rack.

well if you mean steering being tight and wont return without you doing it. This will be a faulty steering rack.

When you say it wont return do you mean when going in a straight line the steering wheel isn't straight? If so this is because the tracking has only been adjusted on one side.

As for it being the box this is doubtful as it has a rack not a box.
