my buddy has a 1998 taurus. He has the same problem. The dealer told him his particular engine creates alot of rusty sludge and it clogs his heater core up. Ford said he can flush the system every month or replace the engine with a diffrent one. I say "Yea, Right. Sounds like they don't know either.
