Wiring re-connection problem and belt re-tensioning, zanussi tc470?

I took my tumble drier to bits as it had stopped heating and found that the water level in a box like thing had risen and a float had tripped a switch. Putting it all back together with my Dad's help, me being a weak and feeble female!, I am having problems with 2 things First I pulled off the plug connectors from the inside of the mains input lead so I could remove the back panel and now not sure what order they go back. THere is the brown, blue and earth leads but also a lead with a clear plastic covering and also 2 black leads which go to a small cylinder just inside the machine. Can anybody tell me in what order these go back?
Also I can't get the tension back on the belt, I tried 2 alternatives for the belt to go round the motor arm ant the other plastic drive wheel but it is not as tight as it was before I took it to pieces. (my dad is useless!)

hi just took mine to bits and here the wiring,
as you look at the connection block on the inside of the machine, you should have five spade connectors that run horizontal in a colum and 2 that run vertical side by side,
the brown wire goes on the 2nd in the colum blue in the fourth and yellowand green on the right hand vertical one, the cylinder thing has any of the 2 black wires on the first and 3rd and the clear one on the 5th, that should work, hope it helps
