Hotpoint first edition 1200 door locked falshing lights?
During a washing cycle on my Hotpoint first edition 1200 washing machine the electricity went off. Now when i press the active button to start a wash the door locked button flashes continuosly but nothing else happens. Is there a reset button somewhere or do i have to call out an expert. I have made sure that the door is closed properly.
your machine will need a new door interlock and most prob a new control panel.if its under 5years old then you will be covered by the parts warranty but will have to pay £90 call out fee

Hi Phil, not too sure what u mean by WMA machine,but i have unplugged it from the mains and left it for a few hours but still no joy.Thanx anyway.

hi if this is a wma machine try unpluging from the mains for ten then try again
