How can I stop a leaking dishwasher door?

My Kenmore Ultrawash dishwasher started leaking through the door. Gasket is OK, but it seems to leak through some vents at the bottom of the door.
I removed the inside plastic cover and cleaned everything up.
Mostly soap suds drip. The float seems to be working because the water stops flowing and then the wash cycle starts.

Open the door in the middle of the cycle to see if the water level seems too high. It should not be as high as the door hinge when full. If it seems too high, you will have to check the float valve in the front left corner inside the dishwasher. It may be stuck thus overfilling tub. Pay attention to the position of parts and remove the cover, take it apart, and use a small brush,q-tip etc to clean it. Make sure it moves up and down freely before replacing everything. Other possible but less likely causes are leaking door gasket, or plugged drain (or kinked drain hose) preventing water from being pumped out completely.

About the "vents" I am not sure, but just to give you some more information. I had a similar problem, but the water seemed to leak from the top of the door.

The Sears technician replaced the door lock for $200 (!)

And now, I have the leak again- it seems, because we refixed the two tiny screws that fix the washer to my kitchen counter. The screws seem to have rolled off with all the vibration of the washer. This may have shifted the balance of the washer perhaps.
