HOW CAN I FIX MY SERVIS QUARTZ WASHING MACHINE M9003?

HOW CAN WE CHANGE THE BRUSHES ON WASHING MACHINE
mrs pauline blair, January 2005
I do not know your particular machine, but motor brushes are normally easy to replace.

Unplug the machine and remove the top of the washing machine. You should see the motor in front of you. At one end of the motor you will see a copper ring with black lines on it (the commutator). This is what the brushes ride on. The brushes are located in a white or black plastic housing that slides and clip in position. To remove them (there are 2, one on each side of the commutator), remove the wire by sliding off the crimped terminal and push the plastic retaining clip back, prying them out with a screw driver at the same time.

Difficult to describe but easy to do (if not awkward to get to). Make sure you get the correct replacement brushes and insertion is a reversal of removal.
