How can I fix the heating on my Potterton Flamingo 50 Boiler?

When the boiler is on the light is on and when hot water is run it fires up fine. However, when we put it onto contiuous nothing happens and we currently have no heating. Any tips would be gratefully received.

I have just discovered this morning that my 2 yr old daughter had managed to reach up and turn the Living room Thermostat down to +5C yesterday, which meant the radiator circuit was not activated.

Problem now solved, her intentions to save us money were good but her mother cannot survive the winter without every room in the house baking hot.
