For some reason my blower has suddenly decided not to work on settings 1, 2 & 3, but still works on setting 4?

I just bought a ford KA for my daughter that's suffering the exact same (and what I'm told is a very common) fault. Reading some other blogs i understand the problem is the 'resister pack' that is probably burnt out. I'm told it's behind or under the glove box. £40ish
