how do i release the steering lock on vauxhall vectra,?

i am unable to turn the key in the ignition as the stering lock is on, is it posible to remove the steering lock ?

try wiggling steering wheel whilst trying to turn key

hi, when u put ur key in the ignition turn the steering wheel normally to the right and the lock will disengage as you turn key.
