How can I remove a Ford Escort van diesel engine without a workshop?

I have a 1991 ford escort 1800cc diesel van and need to remove the engine without the use of a workshop i only have a hoist

put a jumper on and a hat if it's cold.
CAUTION working on an engine in sunny weather can result in sunburn.

undo all the bolts you can see that join the engine to gearbox and all the wires and water pipes then last of all the engine mounts strap it to hoist give it a wiggle then it should pop out its not hard should take bout 2 hours max
