My car (1999 Mazda demio) is going in for an MOT tomorow. A few months back, someone took to my car and broke the passenger side mirror and rear window wiper. Are these things likely to cause the car to fail?

I have looked for a replacement mirror but havn't been able to find one anywhere, will it have to be replaced with a Demio mirror or will a mirror from another Mazda or an other car fit?

Mine failed the mot today because of the broken wing mirror on the passenger side.

Provided you have a drivers door mirror then all is OK - wrap the broken mirror in bubble wrap. Only the drivers door mirror is required for the MOT.

The rear wiper is not an MOT test part!!

the rear window wiper wont cause the car to fail im not sure about the mirror tho.
