my rover 214i heater problem 1998?

my heater blows well ,but no hot air as such ?i have changed thermostat, but still the same, temp guage is in the norm reading, lots of bubbling from exspansion filler tank.dont think head gasket as gone?

it sounds like a headgasket, rover's fitted with the K series engine and well known for it, if it is bubbling try running the engine till normal running temperature then VERY carefully undo the expansion tank lid (make sure your not to close to it as it will spit VERY hot water out) wait til the bubbling has stopped and turn off the engine, when it has cooled refill the expansion tank

Altho i believe it is the head gasket which in most cases it is cheaper to replace the engine rather than the gasket, try www.nsec.co.uk for spares
