how to disable toyota corolla alarm siren?

99 toyota corolla gr6 alarm siren sounds off at will , even when not primed with key fob. how can i disconnect siren

i found by removing the siren from under the drivers side wing by dimantaling the splash guard from around the wheel well i had good enuff accses to take the whole unit out to save from bleeps and things like that

strange? I have had my G6R for 4 years now and it has suddenly started going off at will (the alarm) - Sounds like it is the sensor then but how do these thing break, does it degrade over time? How much does it cost if i wanted to replace it? For now I will try to disable it.

my g6r is same 1999, goes off at will. i've disconnected the siren which is under the drivers front wing behind splash panel. It is the shock sensor that is broken becaue if you tap the wing when alarm armed it goes off. disconect siren and alarm doesnt go off when wing tapped. shock sensor must be in siren..... hope this helps

I've got the same problem at the moment and can't find a solution as yet other than to remove the fuse which also cuts the radio and internal lights.
Worth checking the battery though.
