Hi ,I have a 1996 Astra deisel estate 1700cc, which frequently locks all doors simultaneously,when one is closed.Sometimes the drivers door and on occasions the tail gate door.I would appreciate your advice on what could be the cause and if possible the solution.Someone said it could be the central lock cpu but I cannot locate it in the car as the manual is unclear as to its exact location.

i havent yet looked but i have been told the cpu unit is behind the panel to the right of the acclerator pedal in the footwell. I have the same problem as the doors lock as and when they please they also open and shut a few times for no reason so i keep the key on me as i have been locked out when the car decided to lock itself with the ignition key in .
