How can I fix my white knight tumble dryer?

I have fitted new fan but now the belt seems too small to fit over motor spindle. Is it possible that the belt shrunk after being off tension for two weeks..

you have to stretch the belt it will fit if the drum and motor are in correctly.dont bend the motor shaft as these will bend if tomuch pressure is applied
