my washing machine was fine then it sounded like there was pebbles being sucked down the pipe when it was draining. It didnt drain properly and now when i put it on a programme it doesnt make any noise and the light just stays on and doesnt flash unless i put it to reset then it flashes as normal?
i have taken the filter hatch off and drained all the water in there but still nothing is happening??
can you help please?

it sounds like there is either a coin or bra wire stuck in the pump chamber to the bottom of that machine causing a blockage so the machine cannot empty so it cant do a new cycle - if you call an engineer (of which i am one) it should cost you about £30-£35 in the north (above watford) to repair (assuming the pump is ok £60 all in if it needs a new pump. regards Nick (Nix electrical services Blackpool 01253 342808)
