ive got a renault clio dynamic 51 plate, its been stood on the drive for about two months. tried starting it, but nothing. no turn over. feels like theres no power at all. ive changed the battery and still the same. sounds like if it were something stuck. any ideas?

Had the same problem and had almost everything replaced!! Turned out to be the crank shaft sensor!! disconnect it and plug it back together and should start! If it works after that, recommend getting it replaced!

yh the dash lights come on but they do fade when i try to turn car over. there is some corrosion on the battery connections. any help?

Do you get any dashboard lights, if so, do they fade when you try the starter?
Try putting the car in 1st gear, release the handbrake and rock the car back & forth, this would release a stuck starter motor.
See if you can rotate the engine ( out of gear, ignition off) with a spanner on the engine belt pulley nut.
Make sure you have sound/corrosion free connections at battery leads (battary end and where they fix to bodywork power connection)
