computer diagnosis for a rebooting issue?

My computer keeps resetting itself after a short period of operation.

Windows seems to be fine and other than reloading and checking disc etc it works, I could then be in the middle of a word document or whatever else I am doing and all of of sudden I get a black screen and the computer reboots, no warning at all. Operating System I am using is Windows 2000.

Could either be the power supply or the switch. Try replacing the switch first because it's cheaper.
