Re my earlier answer, forget taking the fascia panel off - you don't need to. Take off the lowest front panel - the kickboard. Ease forward the big front panel and you will see the motor spindle and two jockey rollers that the belt must pass through. Loop the belt over the drum - this seems to easier from the top of the machine. Locate the belt on the motor spindle and through the jockey rollers. This is easier than you might expect. It's easier with the machine on its back. It helps to prop open slightly the front panel unless you have tiny hands! Manipulate the belt so that it as square on the drum as possible. Do this from the bottom access point and also from the top. Don't be tempted to turn the drum, even slowly. It will just jump off one of the rollers. Check it's square on the drum by looking at the track of the old belt. Put all the panels back, including the top. Make sure the vent pipe and drum are located properly on the front panel. Swith on and run it for a few minutes if it looks OK. I presume that all the panels need to be in place to hold the drum square and the belt to run true. Dry runs with a panel off didn't work for me. This worked for me and I hope it does for you. Don't forget to observe all safetly regs, esp to disconnect the power before you do anything at all.

I have same model, same problem. You need to take the front panel off - don't even think about taking the back off. First remove the top by undoing 2 screws at the back and sliding it backwards. It then lifts off. The fascia panel needs to be taken off and that is what I have not solved yet. It is a matter of taking off 3 cylindrical spring clips that secure pins on the back of the panel. Either you need a special tool or you have to break the pins off and refit using screws or something. I know that doesn't solve it but if it stops you taking the back off, it has saved you hours and quite a few rude words! Be back when I've solved it.
