Error Codes- Bosch WFF 2000?

Hi,
Does anyone have a list of error codes (pre-rinse light flashing) for a Bosch WFF 2000 - or perhaps any Bosch washer?

many thanks

Good advice by everyone and it helped me fix my washer. However, your prices for brushes seem very high, I got mine from Ebay for £4.99 including P+P. I ordered them on Sunday and they arrived on Tuesday morning. One tip, they can be tight in the brush holder so check they slide in freely and if necessary sand paper a bit off the relevant edges.

Error Codes- Bosch WFF 2000 - indicated by "pre wash" light flashing.
1= Water inlet/supply fault
2= Heating fault
3= Pump fault
4= Motor not turning properly (Usually carbon brushes stuck or worn)
5= Uncontrolled increase in spin speed
6= Programme position code fault
7= NTC short circuit/open circuit

Hope that helps.

Hi, I've just done this change of the carbon brushes and it works perfectly (until the next thing goes wrong). Thanks Peter for the instructions above they were accurate. The only observation I would add for less technical people is this: look at the metal plate on top of the spring attached to the NEW brush. This is the thing you have find to PUSH & SLIDE out on the motor to release the OLD brush. Dont touch any plastic. I spent ages wobbling the brush housing trying to figure it out. Did the whole job in 30mins with parts costing £17

If the pre wash light flashes 4 times then this points to worn brushes in the motor. It's a real simple job for anyone to replace the bushes. All you need is a half inch socket and a phillips screwdriver.

REMOVE the plug from the socket, turn off the power

Remove the back off the washing machine, unclip the wiring loom from the motor, remove main belt, remove earth wire from motor. Directly on the front of the motor is a half inch bolt, just slacken this bolt. Now feel behind the motor for the 2nd half inch bolt and remove this bolt. Now remove the first bolt and slide the motor towards you off it's metal guide (the 2nd bolt was attached to this guide) Now simply remove the brushes by prising the retaining clip on one side only. Remember which side the chamfer was on as the bushes only fit one way.

20 minutes from start to finish and the bushes only cost around £25

Bosch wff 2000 error codes. I've just fixed mine.....Prewash light flashing 4 times at the end of the cycle.....Turned out to be worn carbon brushes. Replaced these at a cost of £15 and about 1 hours work.

To help anyone searching this site in future.... I didn't find a list, but got through to Bosch who advised me it was a pump problem.
From their advice, I diagnosed a stuck impeller, and fixed it. Job done!

Their no. is Technical Team 08702 426660
