I got about a drop of water in the lid of my usb pen because my bottle cap leaked and when i put it into the computer the light flashes about a bit then goes off and the computer says it cannot recognise the device. I think the files are lost but can i ever use the stick again as they are expensive and i have only had it one day! it is a pcline 1gb memory stick from pc world.
Leave it a while to dry out.... if it doesn't work after a couple of days and if I were in your shoes, I'd just take it back to pc world and say it doesn't work and ask for a replacement.
