Computer conflict with a Microwave?

is it safe to use a microwave close by to a computer?

Can a microwave cause a computer to crash when used in close proximity to it?

Any relevent answers would be greatly appreciated ta.

It shouldn't affect the computer, which should be fully screened and earthed but it is possible. If the microwave is faulty, and the radiation finds its way onto the motherboard, it might zap a component. Might!

Operate the two together if you must. If the computer shows signs of distress - sudden crashes etc, then increase the distance between the two.
