The machine in question is the Hoover New Wave plus 5 auto washer 1300 electronic
Can anyone tell me what the fault is with my washing machine? It appears to work normally up until the conditioner cycle when it invariably stops and displays E1 and all the lights flash. I have removed and cleaned the pressure (?) bottle and pipe to no effect. Fill level appears to be OK, water pressure is very good and I have tried reducing that also to no effect.
If swithched of at mains for a couple of minutes, it will normally run a spin cycle without problem - but NOT ALWAYS! Motor brushes are fine (almost new) so I assume that it must either be electronic or something to do with the pumping out of water, but that is just wild guessing. Does anyone have any idea or information to help, please?

This E1 fault code does not give you great help, it says it has not filled in time ,heated in time or emptied in time. That said the most common fault was the element down to earth. However we have had one machine which we changed every component and never sorted out the fault, sorry

i was looking on indesits website and found they also have a section with fault codes on im sure i found your error code its definately worth a look go to customer service section
