Both my reverse lights are out but the bulbs are fine and the wiring is fine. i think it is the reverse light switch but i don't want to start stripping the gearbox down until i know its in there. any help would be usefull thanks

u really should say what car it is m8.that would be a great help.but whatever it is it wont be inside the gearbox.it will be easy to get too.on the top or the side of the gearbox with a plug with 2 wires coming out of it.to test it.pull the plug off,bringe the pins in the plug with a bit of wire or whatever,if the lights come on its the switch.
