How can i fix my Zanussi WJS1265W washer/dryer?

My Zanussi WJS1265W washer/dryer washes fine but when I put it to dry the drum goes round and does not heat so the clothes do not dry. I discovered the fan was not going round, fixed that but still the same fault. Which bits are the heating element, thermostat etc so I can check them, what resistance should I get if they are fine and what if duff.

i have a wjs1265w wash/ dryer and im experiencing that it does not dry as it goes throught the drying motion, is it a case of opening the back and trying to clean the fan ? or do have to by a toc ? if so where do i purchase the required parts ?

The inner drum has become loose how do you get atit to tighten up?

I found the [problem in the end to be the fan still being a little stiff to turn. I sorted it be taking it out, cleaning all the crud out of the inside and a little WD40 in the bearing and after that it worked fine

how did you fix the fan, as i have the same problem but if i tip the machine almost on its side it kicks in?

If fan does not spin TOC (theremal overload cutout) will have melted on the top of the fan assembly, above the element, which will stop power getting to the element because it overheated by fan not working, therefore you will need to replace TOC after fixing fan which will solve your problem
