White knight sensor dry - no heat?

The dryer works but there is no heat. How can I test to see if it is the heater element

Most likely the one-shot thermostat is open. Disconnect machine from mains supply then check the stat using a multimeter set on the ohms range. If the stat is OK you will read a few ohms when testing across the stat terminals. If you have overloaded the machine capacity the one-shot stat may have tripped due to overheat in the drum (a one-shot is a non resettable thermostat that protects the machine against gross overheating). If the one-shot is open circuit you need to replace it with a new identical part
