How can I fix my Zanussi gas cooker model No: ZCG7690XN?

I have a 2 year old Zanussi gas cooker. The main oven will not operate (no gas ignition and no electrics to main oven). Also the clock has stoped working although the rest of the cooker is operating ok, eg, top oven and rings - any ideas?

Hi Alex , i have the same oven as yours. after 2 months I bought mine the oven stoped working at the same time as the electronic clock did. Luckily I was covered with warranty as the new clock cost £82 from serviceparts. You will need to confirm the exact serial number as theres 2 types (mine being 44300178).As soon as the engineer replaced the clock it was all working fine. A point to note was that the clock should have 2 rubber seals fitted behind the 2 nobs.If these are not fitted you run the risk of the same problem re occuring. if you need more info e-mail (googhie@hotmail.com)

Hi Alex,

I was just searching for the same thing! With my oven, both main and grill are working ok, but the gas hob has stopped---No gas comes out..

Hope someone has an answer..

Thank you..
