my screenwash wont work?

i have recently got a 1991 fiesta but the screenwash wont work you can hear the motor but nothings happening any sugestions would be most greatfull

Have you used washing up liquid in the water? I did and found a whole load of coagulated gunk at the bottom of the tank and in the pipes - a friend with an air line blasted it out.
