Just to let you know, i needed a replacement fuse and a new battery. This solved the problem. My battery was 7 years old but the average life span is 5.

hi to fix your alarm you should open the box to the alarm not the keypad remove the battery cables and then turn off the power to it

after a min hold the spring in an turn the power back on but do not refit battery yet key board should now work if not or it locks up the check tamper on main box panel and also keypad

when all working then refit battery but if it is older then 3 years it should be replaced

hope this helps

Hi, I have had the same problem and have had an engineer out to fix it. It would appear to be that the batteries are probably old and need replacing. Check the answers on

If all else fails then have an engineer out.
