fit new belt to white knight 3 kg

I've followed these instructions which were spot on by the way. However after being fine for a month or so the belt is now slipping quite considerably, even with hardly any load.

Is there anyway to adjust the motor to put more tension on the belt?

Unplug it. Natch.
Take off the top (3 screws). It slides back.
Lie the machine on its front on a towel or something.
Take off the motor access. 4 screws on the bottom releasing a small panel.
Unscrew the back but don't remove it. This is all the screws around the edge, not the pear-shaped panel in the middle.
Carefully lift up the back a little. Don't strain the wires. Keep going until you can just see daylight between the drum and the back. Carefully slide the belt through.
Put the back down making sure that the drum still turns freely. If you dislodged the outlet tube, put it back in position.
Work the belt down the drum to be opposite the motor pulley. Make sure its the right way round (grooves inside). Put a folded bit of paper under it to stop it slipping right down.
Screw the back on.
Turn the machine upside down. Careful as you haven't got the top on. Don't stand it on anything hard. This makes it easier to do the pulling onto the motor pulley and stops the belt falling down.
Stretch the belt over the motor pulley. Hard work as it's not a straight pull through the access hole. I did it in stages.
Carefully stretch the belt over the pulley so that the grooved side engages with the grooves in the pulley. Retrieve your bit of folded paper.
Re-fit the pulley access panel.
Re-fit the top and give it a test.
Voila - hopefully.
