I have a W reg (2000) Fiat Punto ELX. There has been a clunking when in the first 2 gears for a while. Yesterday the car wouldn't go in reverse and started to struggle to go into any forward gears, but would just. Drives fine when in gear. Still tension on the clutch peddle but feels a bit slacker and makes a noise. Is thsi likely to be the cabe or something nore serious?

Hi you have,nt got a cable it,s a hydraulic slave cylinder for the clutch arm.
You need to check this is,nt leaking if it is replace it.
If it,s ok sounds exactly like a clutch problem.
