ford transit 03 clutch 2.4 duro?

just had my clutch replaced on my van with a solid flywheel for half the price of a dual mass eating startermotor one got it from ebay with all the bits for £250 and got it fitted for £150 bit cheaper than ford who wanted £1000 to do it and will not have to keep buying starters every year well worth it

It's different on the Galaxys and Mondeos so not so good for you.

MrMPuk, February 2007
are they really making the change thats good idea, especially for the galaxy and mondeo etc

jack, February 2007
I HAVEN,T NOTICED ANY DIFFERENCE DRIVING IT ALTHOUGH THE STARTER IS A LOT QUIETER

Gordon Macdonald, February 2007
Even dealers are doing this mod now, and if the major manufactures stop making the new type which I doubt they will you can go back to the genuine type with the dual mass flywheel.

MrMPuk, February 2007
ok but surely later on when trying to get clutches for it etc

jack, February 2007
You said it would cause more problems Jack, well I disagree! It's only there to give you a slightly smoother ride.

MrMPuk, February 2007
id look forward to more problems then as the dual mass flywheels are there for a reason
