Anti Roll bar drop links. Definitely!

A seriously worn gearbox could be causing the clunking noise, but normally clunks which are more noticable on a full lock right or left turn tend to be drive shafts or ball joints.
Good Luck

yeah ive had this problem.it was front lower ball joints.most grages will check them by grabbing the wheels & giving them a little shake.if u get what i mean.but if u put a flat bar (tyre lever or something between the ball joint & the hub & try & prize it apart,u will find theres movement in the ball joint that doesnt show up by the other way of checking them
