my 206 judders when setting off do i require a new clutch to put this right

The clutch is the last resort replacement for juddering. Hopefully no oil seal has failed, which would have contaminated the clutch friction surfaces causing juddering. Engine/gearbox rubber mountains that have failed will have been contaminated with oil, could also cause judder.j Either way have the clutch adjusted if possible first.
