Technically, it's an EEPROM error. This is the little chip with the coding information for the big chip on the computer board. Well, probably...... The error codes are notoriously unreliable on these. The chip is available as a spare. If you are lucky, it clips into a holder; if not you'll have to solder it to the computer board yourself.
