Oven lights up. but stays on low even when the adjust knob is on 9 , It should go on to full heat after about 5 seconds.
what can the problem be?

Yes ive heard ii is an FFD. This stops the gas flow if the flame goes out apparently.

My leisure was less than £200 new so £166 for an FFD doens't excite me much to be honest... Its all sooo expensive!

i've got the same problem!
apparently you need a new part (so says my friendly and cheap gas repair man!)
a 'ffd' which is the valve that lets the gas through
am looking into prices but the onlt one i've had back is £166.81 plus vat and p&p
what a rip off!
