Arriston C & E?

What are the C & E for on the Blue dial of an Arriston boiler

c=comfort
e= economy
It means when on c the boiler will fire itself up every now and then to keep itself hot which will enable it to deliver hot water a little bit quicker than if the the boiler was stone cold.
