my e-machines desktop speakers sound like i am listening to them?

in a tunnel,as if they have some sort of echo when i listen to anything,it's very off putting, how can i fix this to listen in NORMAL sound.

Sounds like it could be an environmental effect. Most sound cards/on-board sound these days have plenty of effects with them. perhaps you turned one on by accident (or someone else that uses that computer). Look near the clock on the start bar in the system tray, it could have a little icon that will start up the sound settings on your computer. If so see if a special effect is turned on, like 'underwater' or 'hallway' or 'stone room' 'auditorium' 'concert-hall' stuff like that.. if it's on a funky effect just changed it back to normal..
