Ariston Select S1000 Spinning Problem?

My Ariston Select S1000 Has An Intermittent Spinning Problem, When Going On To The Final Spin Sometimes The Revs Start To Build Up Then They Just Die Away This Happens 4-5 Times During The Final Spin Mode. If You Slect The Spin Mode Again, Sometime It Will Spin As Normal. It. This Has Been Going On For A Few Weeks, I Checked On The Bushes In The Motor And They Seem Fine. - Cheers

When I had this problem I looked at this module in the back right corner and found that the connector blocks had worn the tracks off the circuit board. Probably from the vibrations at the machine spins. I resoldered the connection on to the board and now am wearing clean, dry clothes again!

Success - I've used a hot air rework station on the PCB board and i've just completed 10 loads of washing to test it and it worked every time!! - Maybe just dry joints on some of the surface mounted components.

Can these modules be repaired? e.g dry joints - replace components

You require a module ( circuit board) Part No C00049373. If you tip the machine back & look underneath you will see it in the back right hand corner in a white plastic carrier. You MUST connect the two wiring blocks up the same way, so mark them first, or you will blow the new module. The orignal module starts playing up by missing spins intermittantly until it packs in completely. The new ones are more reliable.
