I have replaced the brake pads in my 2004 Holden Vectra and the brake pad light is still on. I am wanting to know whether this has to be reset by a Holden Service technician or whether I can do it myself or whether it should have gone off automatically when the pads were replaced?

there is a broken wire inside the wiring/ tracefrom pad sensor to plug or buy new sensor about $45 ,left hand side front wheel
