My pen drive is creative 512 mb,It was not detecting any hardware configuration.But its light was blinging all the time.

my pen drive is of 32 gb but it store data only upto 400mb after that data start getting corrupted.square boxes get appeared in the folders.even my xp does not show its icon plz send its solution to harry.cse2007@gmail.com thanks as somebody says that it is uselesss but as fasr as my views r concerned nothing is impossible.

at first open the case of the pen drive..plug it into usb port on your computer..use a metal or something conductive and touch the pin 6 to 8 at your flash ic chip(may different related to your pendrive model).you can counting the pin by referring the notch of flash chip.the a little electric spark will come up when you do that.unplug your pendrive,plug it back to your usb port and a format it again.This step usually will clear the data in flash ic chip..
