How do I fix a leaking axel seal on a 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD?

The axel seal on my 2004 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD 4 wheel drive is leaking. I have purchased the parts, but I don't know how to fix it. Please help. Thanks.

The axle is going to have to be removed to gain access to seal
Some are just bolted in and on others the rear end cover plate will need to be removed and the axle C clips removed so axle can be removed ......sounds worse than it it thou .....
