How can I fix my Think Pad 600X?

My Think Pad 600X type 2645 model 5FU running windows XP Pro got a start up error 00192. My operating system was inaccessable and the only option I had was entering "okay" which sent me to a picture of a manual. I had a friend check this error code on the net and it was either a problem with CMOS battery or fan. If it's a fan problem how do I fix it?

If you go to www.lenovo.com (Lenovo own all of IBM's PC assets now) you can download a maintenance manual. Step through the diagnostics in the manual.
