How can i repair the door mechanism on my hotpoint dwf40p. I have undone the door screws and found a broken spring which i can only assume is from the door lock mechanism. I could do with a schematic of the door lock and that would help me no end.

Same problem here. the spring attaches to the metal pin on the inside and another metal pin holds it closed I got a spring from RS. Click and paste
