ive got a american style fridge freezer(side by side) the display thats on the drinks dispencer thing has gone crackers.all the lights are flickering & i cant turn the vacation button to off.the only button that works is the stand by button.tryed unpluging it,no good there.any ideas?no idea of the model number ither cant find it anywhere'

Slightly different problem - we have a Whirpool side by side fridge freezer without the drinks dispenser, and the display seems to have stopped working. No lights on it at all. However, the fridge and freezer lights are still on and the motor sounds like it is still running. The fridge and freezer still seem to be cold (for now). I'm monitoring this. Has anyone seen this problem? will the fridge stop working without the display or just carry on?

thanks for your tip Gordon,I have since changed the foo foo valve and reset the flux capacitor m8 and its now time to try out the wine, Ah now I see what you mean time ,really does travel and not a flickering light in sight.

we have the same problem--lights continuously flashing and also occasional strange noises,we have contacted whirlpool direct and guess what ,They say this is new to them and that they would have to send an engineer out to look at the fridge before they could further comment,£54. thank you very much for a call out to determine the fault,? anyone else experienced the same gobligook.
