Is this vehicle fitted with the lateral restraint systems. I have been told that anything after 2001 is, but I dont think that my vehicle does include this. I think there are only air bags in the front of the vehicle. I want to purchase a dog guard for the boot. Would appreciate an answer to the question before I do so.
Arnold Clark failed to provide me with the service booklet and handbook. Can you also tell me when the timing belt should be changed?

hi i have a r reg renault scenic and my cambelt has lost all its teeth do you think that i have damaged the valves on the engine,i wasnt driving the car i just started it then it cut out,,also does this model i have have timing marks and if so can you tell me where they are please,all the help i get will be very greatful,thanks jimmy

the timing belt should be changed every 72k or 5 years,whatever comes first.if you can supply me with the registration number i could give you an answer about the lateral restraint system,as i'm parts advisor for a renault dealership.
