How to remove the front shroud assembly on Maytag?
Replacing the motor on a Maytag MDE9206AYW. Removed the front panel and now facing a "front shroud assembly" that I can't figure out how to remove in order to get at the motor. Thanks.
Roll front rubber boot off of plastic shroud ( around door opening). Just pull it and it will come off. Then unscrew the door latch and place it to rest on the top of the washer. The shroud should pull out.
